Zaheer Kathri is the founder and captain of Learning Roots, a leading Islamic children’s publisher established in 2004, now reaching readers in over 30 countries.
He has authored several bestselling children’s storybooks and continues to steer the company with international success.
Before founding Learning Roots, Zaheer worked as a Mathematics teacher in London, a Special Project Coordinator at an FE College, and later as Head Master at a private primary school.
He graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in Maths and Economics, followed by a PGCE and a Master’s in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment, which laid the foundation for his career in education.
